COMMERCIAL INSURANCE

GENERAL LIABILTY

A Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy protects your business from financial loss should you be liable for property damage or personal and advertising injury caused by your services, business operations or your employees. It covers non-professional negligent acts.

UMBRELLA

An umbrella insurance policy is extra liability insurance coverage that goes beyond the limits of the insured's home, auto or watercraft insurance. It provides an additional layer of security to those who are at risk for being sued for damages to other people's property or injuries caused to others in an accident.

BUILDERS RISK

Is "coverage that protects a person's or organization's insurable interest in materials, fixtures and/or equipment being used in the construction or renovation of a building or structure should those items sustain physical loss or damage from a covered cause."

PROFFESIONAL LIABILITY

A type of liability coverage designed to protect traditional professionals (e.g., accountants, attorneys) and quasi-professionals (e.g., real estate brokers, consultants) against liability incurred as a result of errors and omissions in performing their professional services.

PROPERTY

Property insurance is a policy that provides financial reimbursement to the owner or renter of a structure and its contents in the event of damage or theft. Property insurance can include homeowners insurance, renters insurance, flood insurance and earthquake insurance.

POLLUTION LIABILITY

Pollution insurance is a type of insurance that covers costs related to pollution. This can include the costs of brownfield restoration and cleanup, liability for injuries and deaths caused by pollution. The policy usually covers the costs of cleanup and may include coverage for releases from underground storage tanks.

WORKERS COMPENSATION

Insurance that covers medical and rehabilitation costs and lost wages for employees injured at work; required by law in all states.

RESIDENTIAL ASSOCIATIONS

An insurance policy that protects nonprofit organizations from claims alleging management negligence, rather than those involving bodily injury (BI) or property damage (PD). Association professional liability insurance is synonymous with nonprofit directors and officers insurance.

GROUP HEALTH PLANS

Construction bond is a type of surety bond used by investors in construction projects to protect against disruptions or financial loss due to a contractor's failure to complete the project or to meet contract specifications. A construction bond is also called a construction surety bond or a contract bond.
